BROW CARE

Everything You Need to Know to Prep, Heal, and Protect Your New Brows.

Pre-Care Instructions – Please Read Carefully Before Your Appointment

To ensure the best results and a smooth procedure, follow these guidelines:

  • No waxing or numbing at least 7 days before your appointment. These can thin the skin and lead to poor healing.

  • No alcohol for 48 hours prior – it increases bleeding, which can affect results.

  • Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin, Vitamin E, Omega-3/Fish Oil) for 3–5 days before. These promote bleeding and make the process harder.

  • No caffeine for 24 hours before – it can increase bleeding, anxiety, and movement.

  • Avoid prolonged sun exposure leading up to your appointment – sun-thinned skin can be harder to work on.

  • Discontinue Retinol or Retin-A use in the brow area 2 weeks prior – these thin the skin and can affect pigment retention.

  • No Botox at least 4 weeks before – we need the Botox to settle to avoid uneven results.

  • Be aware: you may feel more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

  • If you are prone to keloids, this procedure is not recommended and will not be performed.

Post-Care Instructions – Healing Your New Brows

Please follow these steps to ensure the best healed results. Every skin type heals differently, so be patient with the process!

Immediately After Your Appointment:

  • With the provided cleanser, cleanse your brows with the foam in the first hour, blot your brows with a clean paper towel to remove lymph (clear fluid). This prevents massive scabbing and flaking.

  • Apply a tiny layer of healing balm (a rice grain amount).

Daily Care (Days 7–10):

  • Gently wash brows every 2 hours the first 2 days
→ Use a soft swipe in the direction of hair growth—no scrubbing.

  • Apply a rice grain amount of the provided ointment after each cleanse.
→ Too much suffocates the skin and delays healing.

  • Avoid water, soap, shampoo, and conditioner running over your brows.

  • No steamy showers, sweating, or workouts for 7-10 days.

  • No makeup, oils, Vaseline, or skincare products on the area for 2 weeks.

  • Do not pick or scratch. Let flaking happen naturally.

  • Sleep on your back to avoid pressure or rubbing.

What to Expect:

  • Brows will appear dark and bold at first, then flake, fade, and lighten about 30-50%

  • Around Week 2, brows may look like they’ve disappeared—this is normal. Color will return over 4 weeks as your skin heals.

  • Final results develop at 4–6 weeks, which is when your touch-up (if needed) can be scheduled.

Avoid These to Protect Your Results:

  • Water, soap, or shampoo on brows (first 10 days)

  • Picking or scratching

  • Skincare, makeup, or oils (first 2 weeks)

  • Threading/waxing (first 2–4 weeks)

  • Pools, oceans, or lakes (first 2 weeks)

  • Hair dye or bleach near brows (first 6–8 weeks)

  • Sweating and hot showers (first 10 days)

  • Retinols, acne products, or laser treatments

  • Blood-thinners like Ibuprofen or Aspirin

Reminder: Healing varies. Brows will soften and lighten up to 30–50% from their original color. Be patient and trust the process!
